Overview

The 4 Days safari Package includes guided game drives in three National parks – Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Days are spent searching for Africa’s wild animals including the Big Five, with each National Park revealing its unique beauty and wonder. Lake Manyara National Park for its beautiful views of the expansive Alkaline Lake decorated with migratory pink feathered Flamingos, Ngorongoro Crater for its unique accommodation of African Wild Animals, and the Great Serengeti National Park mostly famous for its Legendary Wildebeest Migration. Nights are spent at Safari Lodges and a Tented Lodge.

Itinerary

Day 1. Lake Manyara national park.

Depart early from Moshi or Arusha between 0700hrs and 0730hrs in the morning to start your safari to Lake Manyara National Park. Reach Lake Manyara National Park at approximately 1030hrs, for your first late morning game drive. During the game drive your guide will share his intimate knowledge of the park’s different types of wild animals, plants and birds for your enjoyment. At lunch hours take a small break for a picnic lunch, and then proceed for more game drive until in the afternoon. you will then drive to Endoro Lodge located on near the Ngorongoro Conservation Forest. As you wait for your dinner, you will enjoy a refreshing drink from the privacy of your room’s balcony facing the beautiful views of the Ngorongoro Forest.

Day 2. Game drive in Ngorongoro crater.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro crater for game viewing. The crater is 20 kilometers across and 610 meters deep hosting a variety of African wild animals including the endangered black rhino, Lions, Cheetahs, hippos, hyenas among others. At lunch hours your guide will drive to a picnic site in the crater for a lunch break then continue with game drive until in the afternoon. Today you will drive to Rhino Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Game drive in Serengeti park.

After breakfast your Guide will drive you to Serengeti Park, where you are likely to spot plenty of African animals including all of the Big 5. On this day you will do game drive enroute to Ikoma Tented Camp located on the western corridor, also one of the best places do to a game drives and see the Animal migration during the Months of August and September. Today your dinner will be served underneath the stars and night spent under canvas, adding more to an authentic African safari experience.

Day 4. Full day game drive in Serengeti park.

Very early in the morning, after a cup of hot coffee or tea your guide will take you for a sunrise game drive. You will Enjoy beautiful views of the sun illuminating the plains of Serengeti and its inhabitants, later you will return to Camp for brunch. After brunch you will start your game drive along the western corridor, a remote and unique part of the Serengeti with numerous resident animals and the Grumeti river that hosts Gingantic crocodiles and hippos. You will take your packed lunch during game drive, and later in the afternoon drive back to Ikoma Tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5. Morning game drive in Serengeti / Lake Natron / Oldonyo Lengai.

After an early breakfast, you will begin your drive to Serengeti National park. Along the way, you will pass through small African villages with a number of souvenir shops. You might also spot a Maasai Boma, if you are interested you could ask the driver to stop for a quick tour. After entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on your way to Serengeti National Park, you are likely to see animals such as Blue Monkeys, Baboons, Elephants or even the great Wildebeest Migration during the periods of Late December and Early January. Reach Serengeti in the afternoon where you get a 24hrs entry permit. Game drive will be done enroute Katikati Tented Lodge, Located in central Serengeti National Park.

Day 6. Serengeti national park/Ngorongoro conservation area.

An early wake up call will be followed by an early breakfast to begin your day. On this day, maximizing the time left in the park is key. Our experienced guide will aim at his best to make sure you spot as many wild animals as possible including the Big Five, as he/she elaborate their unique habits and behaviors. Start driving back to Ngorongoro Conservation Area as time nears, with game viewing enroute. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge, strategically located at the Rim of the Crater offering panomaric views of the Whole Crater.

Day 7. Ngorongoro crater/Arusha/Moshi.

Very early in the morning, after breakfast, you will drive into the Ngorongoro Crater floor. This extraordinary world’s heritage site, is resident to quite a large number of African Wild animals including the Lions, Cheetahs and the Black Rhino. Enjoy your game drive as your guide gives details of the different types of animals, the formation of the crater and the Maasai’s harmonious co-existence with the wild animals. After taking your lunch, drive back to the camp site to pick up the cook. Later you drive back to Arusha/Moshi or Kilimanjaro Airport where you are scheduled to arrive at Approximately 1830hrs.
